I wasn’t real sure what kind of picture to post in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness this week. The Scavenger Hunt prompt was orange or pink for the cause. I opted to share some of nature’s orange and pink beauty. Observing the landscapes around us can give a sence of calm.
I took this moon picture from the deck. One tree had leaves that turned orange.
I captured the view from the top of the ditch as the neighbor’s heifer reached through the fence.
This barn cat looks nice and cozy as she waits to be fed in the morning.
I saw this Old Blue Truck at Prairie Berry Winery. There are display wine barrels stacked in the back of the truck.
The entries in this Cabin Journal are faceless portraits of the visitors that stayed in the cabin. Thank You notes and stories of faceless people who have enjoyed the time they spent in the Black Hills.
Sometimes we need to get out of our comfortable routine and step out into the world. We need to see the orange leaves, pink sky and experience nature to realize what is viewed from above us. The cards of life are stacked in our favor as there is a specific plan for each of us. We are not a faceless portrait, but on Earth to fulfill a life that reveals its self one day at a time.
