Water Water Everywhere

With temps in the upper 40’s and low 50’s snow is melting fast!  It is so nice to see bare ground again.  Another positive is not having to bundle up like an Eskimo to go outside.

I am glad I took the time to snap a few shots on Wednesday afternoon, because yesterday the water was not running as much.  Thursday was a windy day and dried things up a lot.

Water running along the east side of the driveway.

Water running across the driveway.

Water running into the dam at the end of the driveway.

Dam and water backed up at the end of the driveway.

The draw east of our house. This is the path we normally use to take out pairs.

While J and I were out looking at all the water he spotted a varmint.  All varmints are killed upon site.  Varmint are too destructive and dangerous to allow residency on the ranch.

Today is the 1st official day of spring!  I can’t wait until it is warm enough to open the house windows and let the fresh breeze in.
