Wagon Wheels

While preconditioning calves I spotted this old wagon.  I liked the look of it and it was a new photo subject for me.

J has been busy helping the neighbors chop corn.  These are the same neighbors that chopped our corn last week.  Needless to say, it has been quiet around the house.  It was also a very productive weekend for me.

I cleaned, baked, organized, did laundry, edited pictures, updated the books and a few other things.  It’s amazing how inspiring a few uninterrupted days at home can be.  I can honestly say I feel caught up … for the moment.  It will be nice to have J home in the evenings, I miss cooking supper and his company.

I think we are very close to saying fall is here.  The leaves are beginning to change, the mornings are crisp (43* today) and the days have been in the 60-70’s.  With the exception of Monday which was in the 80’s and the 98* we saw last Tuesday.

    Real neat pictures.
I call getting jobs done like you did; “some of this and some of that” which equals a lot of everything.

Janet, every once in a while we need a weekend to catch up on all the odds and ends that seem to get pushed out of sight and out of mind.
