I am back! Early last week our Internet went on the blitz. We had a technician come out and get us running again. The next day the computer went haywire. We suspected a virus. The computer spent some time at the local computer guru’s and we got it back yesterday. I can kind of stay connected with my Kindle Fire; just enough to keep in the loop. J and I are glad to have our computer and Internet working! Keeping our fingers crossed that we don’t get attacked with another virus.
Around the house… I am keeping my head above water. I feel caught up and have been helping J on projects outside. The weather has been beautiful and we are taking advantage.
I am pondering… the simple things in life. I love opening up windows and airing out the house on a February afternoon! We have had several days with highs in the mid 40’s. It’s feels good to be out and about and not bundled up fighting the wind. I know it’s still winter, but we will enjoy the nice weather while we can.
A favorite quote for today… Put your heart mind and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success. ~ Old Standard
It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make the big things happen. ~John Wooden
One of my favorite things… friendship. The friendship that J and I have. The friendships I share with family members. The friendships I have made with special people, neighbors and individuals in our community.
Last weekend we had good friends come to visit. We laughed, problem solved, listened to our hubby’s tell college stories, ate well, and loved the time we spent together.
A few plans for the rest of the week … With the nice weather J keeps coming up with projects. Might as well do them now while the weather is nice and we are not calving.
A peek into my day… You guessed it, chores! Other projects from this week … We set panels up in the calving shed, ground hay, did some mechanicing and odd jobs. I even washed tractor windows. We also made a trip to the dentist and ran some other errands in town.
Here’s to technology, we love it … when it works!
