The Freedom We Have

Happy 4th of July!

1.  Kristi, at Live and Love Out Loud, and Rebecca, at Bumbles and Light are hosting a Summer Edition of Nurture Photography!  The prompts for this week are Freedom and Blue.

2.  We  had a nice view of Mount Rushmore from the top of Keystone last Thursday.  As you can see we also had a beautiful blue skied day.

3.  The Faces of Mount Rushmore remind us of the Freedoms that these past presidents achieved for our country.  Fighting for independence from England, establishing the principals that our country is ruled by, bringing an end to slavery and changing the political system of the United States.

4.  The freedom to to act and live as we choose, without being subject to any undue restraints or limitations.  To work towards life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  George Washington and Thomas Jefferson played a key roll in securing our Country’s right to rule itself, without interference from, or domination by, England or another power.

5.  No matter how you celebrate the Independence of our Country, remember the creative thinking, sacrifices and determination these great leaders had to build a foundation for our nation.
