The Cousin’s Barn

This barn is on Cousin T’s ranch.

I don’t have much to report on today.  I had an uneventful weekend … clean house, bake, cook, laundry and a few odds and ends.

J’s folks came over for dinner on Saturday.  I grilled hamburgers and potatoes.  I had sweet corn that needed to be used up and garden fresh tomatoes.  I topped it all off with Chocolate Cake ( thanks Amy Kirk for the suggestion) covered in Brown Sugar Frosting, J and T’s favorite.

Saturday night  one of the local Volunteer Fire Departments had their annual pancake feed.  I am not a fan of pancakes, so I stayed home and edited pictures.  J said their was a good crowd and brought home a “grab bag” door prize.

J and T hope to have all the hay hauled my mid-week.  After that, J and I have several “fall projects” we need to tackle.  A couple of these projects have been on the list for a long time and are in need of attention.  Fun things like re-staining the deck and cleaning the chicken coop.

What fall projects are you needing to do or are working on?
