Thankful Thursday – Passion

I am reading Dear John by Nicholas Sparks.

The main female character, Savannah, asked John to take her to meet his Dad.  John’s Dad is a passionate coin collector.

Savannah tells John:

“… the saddest people I’ve ever met in life are the ones who don’t care deeply about anything at all.  Passion and satisfaction go hand in hand, and without them, any happiness is only temporary, because there’s nothing to make it last.  I’d love to hear your dad talk about coins, because that’s when you see a person at his best, and I’ve found that someone else’s happiness is usually infectious.”

I am thankful that my family shares a passion for cattle and agriculture.

I am thankful I have a passion for reading and life long learning.

I am thankful for my new found passion, blogging!

What is one of your passions in life?

    Hi there!

    Fun question!

I like that … Make each day your masterpiece! In middle school we had a teacher that said “Autograph your work with excellence.” That is something I try to live by.

  2. It seems we share some of the same passions! Agriculture and blogging to name just a couple:) Thanks for linking up to Thankful Thursday!
