Shades of Yellow

Most often yellow makes us thing of sunshine.  Yellow is exciting, cheerful and citrusy.  It’s a warm color that denotes happiness and joy.  Yellow ribbons are used as a sign of hope and welcoming as our Military service Men and Women return home from war.

The Goldenrod

The high visibility of yellow makes it valuable as a warning color for hazard signs and some emergency vehicles.  Yellow warns to proceed with caution.

Not all yellow is perky, some associate the color with cowardice and deceit.  Aging, jaundice, and  irresponsible journalism is also connected with this color.

Have a wonderful weekend!
