Shades of Autumn – Finale

Happy Day after Thanksgiving!  I hope you had a wonderful day.

The Rancher and I did chores early Thursday morning so we could hit the road.  We spent the Holiday with J’s extended family.  A few of us slipped out of the house mid-afternoon for a little shopping.  The stores were empty and I found a few good deals!

It was a beautiful day with temperatures in the 50’s, sunny skies and no wind!

Good Luck to those of you crazy enough to go Black Friday shopping!  You can find me out doing chores this morning and baking and cooking this afternoon.  My kitchen awaits!

Today is the Grand Finale for the Shades of  Autumn Photo Challenge.  I have to admit, this has been a very fun experience!  This photo challenge helped me look for beauty in the colorful world around me.  Thank You Alicia at Project Alicia, Kristi of Live and Love out Loud, and Rebecca from Bumbles & Light for hosting this event.

I took these pictures earlier this fall at Spearfish Canyon.

Last weekend we had the first snow of the season.  2-3 inches of much needed moisture.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my fall through the many Shades that Autumn has to share.

I was so excited when the snow pictures turned out! The last one is my favorite! Thanks for your comment on Wednesday. I thought the last picture had a lot of character. When I really looked at the picture I saw neat details that I missed the first time I saw it. Details I didn’t know I caught when I took it.

LOVE the snow, so pretty! We had a sprinkling of snow here in Chicago over a week ago, but nothing substantial… much to my son’s dismay! He is so excited about the prospect of snow!

Thanks so much for taking part in the Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge, We’ve had a blast hosting and it’s been wonderful to have you!
