With our computer problems from last week I am off on my posts. This week my blogging will be a little off again. I am taking a few days to visit my folks in Nebraska. Be patient, my regular scheduled blogging should return soon. In the mean time, I am playing catch up on picture editing and trying to organize my thoughts.
Not to be a broken record, but we are taking advantage of the nice weather. Friday afternoon J borrowed a scale from the neighbor. We were curious what the calves weigh and neither one of us are confident in our guessing ability. We got the scale set up and a few test weights. Saturday morning we ran calves across the scale.
Friday, we moved bunks around. With the nice temps the area around the bunks is a bit sloppy. Saturday we transferred pellets. I have to admit, transferring pellets is one of my least favorite jobs. There is so much that can go wrong! I was glad to see J’s Dad show up to help with this project.
I had intentions to join the Winter Nurture Photo challenge with Kristi at Live and Love Out Loud and Rebecca at . Last week didn’t work out and this week I am a little behind. Better late than never and we will see what next week holds. The first week’s prompt was Black or Shadow and Friday’s prompt was White or Minimalism.
Today J went to a neighbor’s Angus Bull sale. I am editing pictures and baking bread. I should do a little packing too. The winter storm we were expecting turned into a rather windy day. No snow for us.
I hope you are having a great weekend!
