First Calf Heifers
Our cows don’t jump over the moon, but they like to jump the autogate.
Frost on Wednesday Morning
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love the photos! Black cattle always make such a great contrast against snow. We had a beautiful frosty morning earlier this week too. Cold to get pictures of, but worth it!
You all have a Blessed weekend, too. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. 🙂
You know…I always wondered if those auto-gates actually kept cattle in 🙂 I guess they do, if you don’t have jumping cows! LOL
Wonderful photos…I love the contrast between the snow and the dark tones of your animals. That 3rd photo is fabulous; great composition! And, I love the white face peeking out in the middle of your first shot <3
Thanks so much for popping by to leave such a kind comment. Have a great weekend!
Great photos…love all the snowy ones!
wow, lots of fences. love the views. such pretty snow. (:
Love the pics. My grandfather was a dairy farmer so I have a soft spot for cows. My dad always tells me that I had no fear of them when I was small he would always have to pull me out from under their feet.
Oh, I sure enjoyed ALL of these….
Thanks for stopping in, Rose! I appreciate it and the comment. I love your header and the barn picture you posted to day is beautiful.
Nice shots. Solid black animals can be tough to show detail but a little snow &/or frost sure makes them “pop”. I too like your third photo a lot.
Love your pictures of the frost!
Wonderful snowy shots! In the first shot, I love that one white face in the middle.
Thanks Pat. I love your photos, you have a new follower in me!
I’ve taken SO many photos of these wonderful old-time windmills, but this shot of yours is the first I’ve ever seen clothed in ice! SO beautiful! Thank you Robyn, for sharing on ‘Weekly Top Shot.’ I hope you’ll come share again next week…
That’s some herd you’ve got!
Love that last shot.
Very nice post and shots.
Regards and best wishes

Thank You so much, Deborah. We do cherish our way of life and try not to take it for granted.

Hey Heidi, thanks for the shout out! Took a look at your blog and am now your newest facebook fan! Looking forward to following your lovely creativity and linking up with your blog hops.
Ohh, it looks rather chilly there! But I’m sure the cattle are doing fine with their winter coats.
Thank you for sharing at Your Sunday Best. 🙂
