Plans Change

Today I am keeping it short and sweet.

I was planning to head to the South Dakota Women in Ag Conference.  I was looking forward to spending time with ranch and farm wives, meeting one of my Social Media friends and enjoying the beautiful Black Hills.

Old Man Winter has a different idea.  They are calling for winter weather for the next couple of days.  Inches of snow and bad wind.  The Rancher and I will be spending our day moving cattle around and getting them situated for the storm.

October 3

I hope you have a good weekend!

We aren’t going to get a blast of winter just yet, but there’s a change coming, and I guess we’ll need to dig out the jackets for our annual Oktoberfest. Sorry that you won’t be able to make it to your conference. Good luck with your storm preparations!

It’s too early for this much snow, isn’t it? I hope your ranch is all set by the time the weather arrives. Stay safe and warm!

  8. I saw the snowy/wintry weather on the national news… thought of you immediately and pray you can get all your stock to safe quarters before the worst hits you… xo
