Other Animals at the State Fair

In addition to sharing the barn with poultry, we shared with horses.  Draft horses that is.  One of my favorite sounds is the clop clop of draft horse hooves as they are being exercised.  It is a State Fair staple for me.

Nebraska’s Largest Pig!  This is the only pig I saw at the Fair, other than the sows and piglets in the Birthing Center.

Angora Goat.  These hair goats were stalled in the sheep barn.  The dairy goat show was also taking place.  Due to the fact my camera is on the blitz, none of my diary goat pictures turned out.

This little Mini Dachshund was for sale!  Sister fell in love.

This little gal was not for sale.  I fell in love.

This concludes my Nebraska State Fair blog posts.  It was great fun!
