Nurture Photo Finale

This is the Finale of Nurture Photography.  Thank You, Kristi, at Live and Love Out Loud, and Rebecca, at Bumbles and Light for hosting a great Summer Edition.

1.  The American Bald Eagle is a symbol of our Country’s freedom.  May we continue to show gratitude for the Men and Women serving in our Armed Forces and our Veteran’s for protecting our liberty.

2.  Yellow Lily’s make me smile!  I find the green leaves fun to photograph too.

3.  Fritz has a real sense of adventure.  Sometimes, what she thinks is adventurous J and I find naughty or mischievous.  We still don’t trust her to be unsupervised, especially when the chickens are out and about.

4.  The cactus blooms from earlier this summer were a treat to photograph.  Look at the red ants and cactus spines.

5.  Happy August!  I can’t believe we are in the third month of summer.

  1. Fritz and Toby need to get together…Toby has learned that he belongs inside of the fence…eventho the fence is now gone he still stays in the yard without any coaxing…I am so proud to be his Mom. Your cactus is really quite beautiful, never used to say that about cactus, but I have come to appreciate its beauty.

Oh I cannot believe it is August either and someone not mentioning any names is only half done haying:(
Love your photos they are so beautiful. I had a dog just like Fritz super sweet and busy:) Hug B

    • Robyn says:

      Miss B,
As long as you get the hay baled and moved home before the snow flies I think you are doing good!

Busy is an understatement with Fritz. It helps to take her for a run. J or I on a 4-wheeler and Fritz running. She could easily be a marathon runner. Sweet is debatable, photogenic she is.

  3. Stephanie says:

August already? Where did the summer go? The yellow lily is lovely. I’ve noticed around here they have appeared everywhere in super abundance. They are on my list for next year’s garden.

  4. Sandy says:

The cactus flower picture is truly gorgeous. Such an awesome color. You even captured the ants!

  5. Snap says:

Amazing that time — especially in the summer — goes so fast! Fitz is lovely and I’m guessing, has a mind of her own! Love the cactus flowers. Fabulous.

  6. Maggid says:

Oh, i am liking that Skip. Think she’s spunky.
Those cactus blooms remind me of my Pops (of blessed memory) – He LOVED the desert – Especially when it bloomed,

    Happy August to You!

Fritz is a gorgeous girl. I would have trouble getting upset with her no matter what she did 🙂

  14. Oh Robyn, I love those cactus blossoms. It seems that each time I’m in the desert is April and the desert is blooming. It’s such a special time. And eagles, I can’t stop photographing them either. Actually, all birds of prey. Love them to pieces. 🙂

  15. Great eagle shot and lovely photos, all! Fritz is just so darn pretty! 🙂

  16. I’m seeing more and more bloggers talking about Summer in the past tense already. Nooooo! I am just getting into my groove. 🙂

We have been out of town, out of internet range & had some hiccups & delays leading to that.. so I’m behind with all of my blog friends. Catching up a bit this nice cool Saturday!

These are all wonderful photos. That last collage with the cactus blossoms is just wonderful. I don’t get to see things like that around here.

  19. I just love that dog shot. You can tell it’s a very special and great dog. Most dogs are good dogs but some are great.
