Nebraska Scavenger Hunt

I used pictures from our Nebraska trip for this week’s Scavenger Hunt.

Light shines through the clouds on a spring evening.

Being a Boston Terrier Molly is a fast one.  She has a tendency to be hyper and loves to explore.

On the other hand, Riley is not fast.  He likes to take life in the slow lane and with lots of belly rubs!

As Mom and I drove around the neighborhood looking for barns we saw a few abandoned farmsteads.  Sometimes, all that is left is a falling down barn and broken windmill.

May we rest in peace knowing that we are protected everyday by the brave men and women serving in our armed forces.

Don’t forget to Vote on Tuesday June 5th!

There is nothing plain about this BEEF!  Home raised by my parents, finished in a cutting edge feedlot and soon to become a high quality protein source for you.

My weekend was busy!  House cleaning, baking and yard work.  While mowing on Saturday I established my summer tan line.  I am kind of glad I was wearing pants!

J got around all the cattle on Saturday afternoon.  I went along to check the yearlings.  It’s amazing how much they change after 2 weeks on grass.

Can you believe it’s June!  How was your weekend?
