More Spring Blooms

Around the house…  Late last week was rainy, so I worked on house things.  Yesterday, I spiffed up the little abode.  I like the spiff up option a lot more than the need to do a big deep clean.  I feel caught up with cleaning, baking ahead and laundry … for now.

I used the Cherish texture from Kim Klassen on this lilac picture.

June 4I am pondering… A lot about life.  I keep trusting that God knows exactly what he is doing.  We have to be thankful for the people and life experiences that have helped us become who we are today.

A favorite quote for today…

One of my favorite things… pretty flower blooms.

A few plans for the rest of the week… I am going on a trip!  Cousin T’s Daughter and I are off to visit my Sister.   We are going to take in and help Sister with the Iowa Sheep Industry Association’s Annual Festival.

Unfortunately, the pretty face below has to stay home.

A peek into my day… As I mentioned before, skirt work has kept me busy.  I have squeezed in some packing and getting things ready for when I am in Iowa.  In addition, I have been outside helping The Rancher with odd jobs and got the lawn mowed too.

I used the Argo texture from Nancy at A Rural Journal on this white lilac picture.

Do to my travels I will be taking a blog break.  I will share my trip with you when I return home next week.  I hope you all have a wonderful week and weekend!
