Little Angels

Monday Morning I learned that a good friend of my Sister’s lost her little boy in a farm accident.  I met this neat family last summer when Sister, Brother-In-Law and I went to visit them.

I pray that this family finds peace and comfort in the days to come.  That they continue to experience the love family, friends and neighbors have to offer during this time of sadness.

When God calls our children

to dwell with Him above,

We mortals sometimes question

the wisdom of His love.

For no heartache compares with,

the death of one small child.

Who does so much to make our world,

seem so wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling

the aged to His fold.

So He picks a rosebud

before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them,

and so He takes but few.

To make the land of heaven

more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult

still somehow we must try.

The saddest word mankind knows

will always be Good-bye.

So when a little child departs,

we who are left behind,

Must realize God loves children.

My heart just breaks for these families.
It is so hard not to ask why…..

      Nikki

Prayers to your neighbors family too. 33 is too young for a heart attack! To be honest, there is a man in is early 30’s to the west of us that survived a heart attack. The Rancher saw another young man the same age in the obituaries last week.

I worry about my husband as heart disease runs strong on his mother’s side of the family.

I can think of two young people who have tragically died in vehicle accidents this year.

Thank You for your thoughts and leaving a comment.

So sad when we lose a little one. The Lord, we know, is keeping him in His loving arms.

I hope the family can feel the prayers of their friends – and even people like me who don’t know them – lifting them up. There is no greater loss.
