Late Autumn Blessings

Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse. ~Henry Van Dyke

One of my favorite things… autumn. I’m not ready to give up on Thanksgiving decor and autumn colors. This fall scene was set up at the bull sale Cousin T, J and I went to last weekend.

A few plans for the rest of the week… the weather forecast sounds unsettled. J and I will be taking care of livestock and fill in with odd jobs as the weather allows.

Thursday we are headed to Motorcycle City to celebrate Thanksgiving with J’s side of the family.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year because it reminds us to give thanks and to count our blessings. Suddenly, so many things become so little when we realize how blessed and lucky we are. ~Joyce Giraud

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

LOVE Thanksgiving! It is hands-down my favorite day of the year. We are having company at our house (dad, brother, sister!) and I am looking forward to seeing them. Enjoy your day – I am thankful for YOU!

That little wagon is so cute!
Odds and ends chores here too…along with semi and tractor repairs.. Ugh!
    Have a great Thanksgiving…and a wonderful week!

Wishing you a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Christmas decor is starting to appear on my Facebook feed, but I am still thoroughly entrenched in Thanksgiving. Of course, since I’m hosting on Thursday, I need to fit the theme. On Friday, we’re doing a Thanksgiving/Christmas combo, but I’m not going to make the decoration transition. Safe travels, Robyn, and wishes for a blessed Thanksgiving!

Love seeing photos of your landscape Robyn. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine was wonderful, since we got to have Myles home. We invited his girlfriend’s family up for desserts after Thanksgiving dinner, which was a smoked ham, not a turkey. Hope you are doing well my dear friend!
