I just happened to have my camera with me yesterday morning. I had to stop when I saw the neighbor’s Horned Hereford Bulls grazing next to the road.
Monday, I hosted the October Hand-E-Hands Club Meeting. I had a 2:00 meeting and then served “coffee.” I made Mocha Cheesecake. Chocolate, coffee, cream cheese … what a wonderful combination! Recipe will be posted soon.
Last weekend I also made yeast bread, caramel rolls, chocolate chip cookies and pizza. I baked up my Great-Grandma’s bread recipe. It had been a long time since I made the delicious family bread. Again, I will share the recipe.
I cleaned house and gave Molly a bath. I am currently missing the last sliver of Irish Spring that used to be in the bathroom. I honestly think Molly ate it. She likes to lick the soap dish clean. It’s always nice to have a “helper.”
I am reading Secretariat by William Nack. I am a third of the way through the book and really like it. It’s Mom’s favorite. She just saw the movie last weekend for the first time. I want to see the movie.
This Thursday I am Thankful for a new camera and the opportunity to enjoy photo opportunities around me. I am thankful for tried and true family recipes, chocolate cheesecake, and good books.
Linking up with The Wife of a Dairyman for Thankful Thursday!
