Hunk of Meat Monday – White Meat Marinade

Beef is the stable meat source at our house.  We raise it and we love it, but every once in a while we feel the need to support the Pork Producers.  We eat a little chicken now and then too.

J’s Uncles come deer hunting every fall and like to grill boneless pork chops for us.  We love the marinade they use.  Lucky for me it’s not a top secret recipe!

This simple three ingredient marinade is a go to at our house for Pork and works well with chicken too.

Thick cut pork chops.

1 Part Sweet Asian Chile Sauce (I used 1/2 cup)

1/2 Part Apple Cider Vinegar (I used 1/4 cup)

1/2 Part Soy Sauce (I used 1/4 cup)

Marinade ingredients.

I mixed up the marinade and put it to work in the morning.

At supper time I grill.  I ended up using my indoor grill pan for the pork chops.  I made these on Thursday night and due to the rain and hail I did not grill outside.

Sunday I decided to use the marinade for chicken.  I was more than glad to be able to grill with the hot summer temperatures.

Simple, delicious, and doesn’t heat up my house in the summer time.  A winner all around!

How do you like to marinade your Pork Chops and Chicken?
