For the Love of Coffee

Today I am going lighthearted with a few fun things I’ve seen on Facebook. Those who know me well will enjoy this tribute to my coffee habit. Those who only know me through social media, I hope you enjoy this tribute to my need for caffeine. J likes to tell me I don’t like coffee, it’s just an avenue to drink cappuccino and hot cocoa. It maybe true, but a cuppa joe still starts with coffee!

I get up early and start my day sitting in peace, drinking coffee before J gets up. At 3:00 in the afternoon, I usually need a pick me up.

This makes me laugh every time I see it. Sister had a very patient cat when were were little. Jimmy didn’t have long enough hair for curlers, but he did wear doll clothes.

Some days this is more true than I want to admit.

As you know, I love to read! Which reminds me I should add a few books to update my reading list.

Happy weekend to you! I can’t believe it’s the last day of January!

Love coffee, loved everything you said in your blog, you are the best, Robin. Also liked pictures, so cute. Your mom has been my support with all that’s going on with Grandma. They came over for Bills birthday, brought a cake and card. Bill says thank you for the card and note, always nice to hear from you and glad you got to go to Denver!

We just had a blizzard on Monday. Besides making sure the tractor was ready, the cows and horses were all set and i had batteries, matches and candles i brewed at least four days of coffee ahead of time in case we lost power. I cant even begin how much coffee means to me. Its sad really. It makes me feel better to know there are others out there that suffer the same

      KK,
I hope you are getting through the storm ok. The good news is we are closer to spring than we were a month ago.
I never thought about brewing several days worth of coffee ahead of time. Great prep plan! I will brew extra and put it in a thermos for my afternoon cuppa. My father-in-law looks at me a little funny when I am packing my thermos of coffee to the hay field.
