Flowers from the Prairie

Summer has arrived on the prairie and with it beauty has bloomed in the pastures. Here are a few shot of my favorite purple wild flowers.

This picture was taken the evening of Sunday June 21st. There was tornado activity to the east of us and northwest of us. This was the view of the clouds from our yard; I was facing northwest when I took this shot.

    On Robyn this is beautiful in word and pictures. It makes you appreciate all that we have in this life.
    Wow haying, it has never stopped raining here so with water lying in the fields and more rain it will take sometime but I am sure we will get there sometime. Be safe and good luck. Hug B

    Spiderwort? I’m a fan blue flowers! Those clouds are beautiful and ominous all wrapped up in one. Glad you didn’t have bad storms where you are, and hopefully you can get all your hay in! Jim finished 2nd cutting, and now we’re hoping for a slower week here, which is a good thing, because the kids are away with the youth group for a week in Kansas City.
