Oh my friend it is always a worry when the weather is cold I am sending you good thoughts for a nice easy calving season we will hopefully be a couple weeks from now and it will finally be warmer. Take care and be careful my friend CDH a Hereford rancher found out how calving and working with normally docile cattle can be dangerous. Be safe.HUGS B

Fridges weather and new babies. Ugh. Good luck with the heifers. We are suppose to get cold too. With bad wind. Only have 13 heifers to go.

We just got home from helping with a funeral dinner at church, and Randy went out to check cows and heifers again. The windshield wipers weren’t keeping the freezing stuff off the windshield on the way home. I’m hoping we keep our electricity. Good luck to you, too!

  7. Great photos and you will be one ‘busy lady’ ~ stay warm ~

Good luck! A rough week to start calving. My parents and my sister really relied on calf warmers with these below 0 temperatures. I hope all is well. I really like the photos.
