Chocolate Pudding

 Hey Puddin!

I love chocolate pudding.  I mean really love it.  I make it once a week … love it.  Yes, I make homemade chocolate pudding, sometimes I share with J.

Here is J’s Family Recipe

 1 C sugar

1/3 C cocoa

Dash of salt

 1/4 C flour

 2 large eggs

 2 2/3 C milk

 2 T butter

 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla

Mix the dry ingredients in a medium sized saucepan.

Whisk in milk and eggs until completely blended.

Cook over medium heat, stirring regularly until bubbly and thickened to pudding constancy.

Remove from heat and whisk in butter and vanilla.

Eat warm or cool completely, transfer to Tupperware and store in the refrigerator.

My personal recipe is a little different …

 ¾  Cup sugar

1/3 C cocoa (usually heaping full)

 Dash of salt

 ¼ C flour

 2 large eggs

 1 1/3 C milk

 1 1/3 C Chocolate Milk

 1 T butter

 Splash of vanilla

 1/3 C chocolate chips

Mix the dry ingredients in a saucepan.

Whisk in milk and eggs until completely blended.

Farm Fresh Egg from my chickens

Cook over medium heat, stirring regularly until bubbly and thickened to pudding constancy.

Remove from heat and whisk in butter and vanilla.

Eat warm (J likes it this way) or cool completely, transfer to Tupperware and store in the refrigerator.

 Good Stuff!
