What a cool thing to find! I haven’t seen an outhouse around here. But the 1 room school house’s are cool.
I just love to go look around old cemeteries. It creeps Cameron out, but I find them fascinating.
    Have a great weekend!

  2. My grandmother had an outhouse for quite awhile, did not like using it at all, but it was all there was. Ever wonder why they put a star & a moon on those old outhouses?? Great capture of all that wood texture!!

Love the moon and star cutouts! I always find outhouses just a wee bit scary, ya’ never know what kind of critter might be in there! 😉

Reminds me of going to school at a one room schoolhouse. You always had to double check to make sure there weren’t any snakes using the facilities.

What a strange place for an outhouse–but, I guess you never know when you have to go!.

Lots of character there:) Hug B

  8. How quaint, and sure looks better than those Blue plastic Johnny On The Spots!

Well, that’s interesting. I wouldn’t think of having an outhouse at a cemetery, but I can see how useful that would be. Great pictures.
