Bloom With Life

Perspective gives us the ability to accurately contrast the large with the small, and the important with the less important.  Without it we are lost in a world where all ideas, news, and information look the same.  We cannot differentiate, we cannot prioritize, and we cannot make good choices.  ~John Sununu

I was close to the Golden Hour when I took these flower pictures.  The little flowers with a golden center make me smile.  Is it finally spring?

I have been noticing these little prairie flowers are in bloom!  There are a few wild flowers dotting the prairie and the trees and thickets are starting to bud.

These dark colored birds are a daily sight.  They are fun to watch when I am out gathering cattle.

May 12Two weeks ago J and I went to see some local neighbors.  They are dog lovers and this one was willing to let me take it’s picture.

Our outlook on life is a contributing factor to our quality of life.  Everyday life is influenced by our attitude towards ourselves, our responsibilities and the people we interact with.  Our thoughts and actions can make us bloom with character or cause others to think we are gloomy.  We shouldn’t wait until our golden years to enjoy life.  Life is to be lived, enjoyed and shared to the fullest capacity!

The calf in the first picture is adorable (even though it looks like he was in the wrong place at the right time!) 🙂 I’m partial to the all black calves, as we hardly ever have any!
