Answers to Fifty Nifty Questions

Terryn at Faith, Family and Beef nudged me to join in the Fifty Nifty Thing to Know About Me game. I like these “get to know you better” blog posts. I enjoyed filling out the same type of questions when they came across my e-mail. You know in the mid 90’s when e-mail was a new thing.

Here goes fifty nifty things you may, or may not, know about me.

  1. Are you a morning or night person? I am a morning person. I like to have my cuppa joe and quiet time before the day gets busy.
  2. Do you prefer, sweet or salty foods? I like them both the same. I’m a salt everything person and big meat-eater. I like my sweet too. I add enough chocolate goodness to my coffee that the Hubs doesn’t consider it coffee.
  3. Ninjas or pirates? I don’t have an opinion on this.
  4. Ninjas vs pirates, discuss… I had to google the Ninjas and Pirate topic, as I had no idea about the discussion. After a brief scan, I’m going to hold with no opinion.
  5. Autobots or Decepticons? Again, I had to google this. I have no idea what either one is.
  6. What was your favorite childhood television program? I have good memories of TGIF. We watched the Friday night line up as a family with a huge bowl of popcorn. How can one go wrong with Steve Urkle? The funny thing is that many of the shows we loved growing up I find very cheesy and unwatchable today.

She loves running, chasing cows and finding “treasures” to bring in the yard. Rosie gives it her all, whatever she is doing. Dogs have lots of love to give and joy to share.April 11

Hello….I am so slow getting to this email but I really liked reading your 50 answers. I started thinking about what I would choose for my “last” meal…gee whiz, I must be on death row (!)….but, I would choose nothing. No food. I feel like, what is the point of eating when I’m going to die in 30 minutes? How could I enjoy a meal. I would forego the food and just face my punishment. hahahahahaha Let’s hope we never face such a horrible thing. P.S. We are in the low 90’s in the central California valley today and the coming week. I spend all of my time keeping the hummingbird feeders clean and full. My 3rd dove of spring has taken up residence on a nest in our porch rafters.

Good point about the last meal.

The temps here are hovering between 32*-35*. We have been getting spurts of moisture all weekend. Currently it is raining. We are glad to get moisture. Makes for extra work during calving, but we will have grass.

You will have to look at tomorrows post for the Consider Birds Art Class I signed up for in May. I be it’s fun to watch the birds gather at your feeders. I see and hear meadowlarks in the morning. We have noticed more “prairie chickens” in the yard than in the past.
